About me

Hi, I am Cedric Chee. Welcome to my blog. I grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I am an IT professional and currently working & living on the sunny island of Singapore. Dabbling for both pragmatic and play, I seeks an ideal interplay between online and offline life, through social networking and social media. I likes to tinker with new & shiny stuff, hacking new projects and other forms of geekery. On top of this, I likes to observe web technologies and innovations. In person, I am an average Joe & independent person. I won’t shy away from serious and deep conversation… nor from silly stuffs… I luv Linux and the iPhone. When I am wearing a web ninja mask, my secret weapons to kill are PHP, Ruby, JavaScript and Objective-C. I am now a little obsessed with developing my first iPhone app.

I started my career as a programmer. I am currently a web application consultant, mainly responsible for designing and building cool & innovative “Click and travel” solution. My solution, at this time of writing, won what the press say as “Is the only travel agent in Singapore with a brick-and-mortar presence to have a fully operational website for online booking and payment.” This solution provide a seamless integration into the major Global Distribution System (GDS) providers such as Sabre, Abacus, Amadeus, Galileo, Worldspan, Pegasus, GTA, and AOT. Apart from this, I also lend a hand to managing our servers and databases.

This Blog:

This is a space mainly for me to post some bits of my life. Sometimes, some of my rants or thoughts. On top of these, I will blog about anything random to web design and development, social media, and cloud computing. In addition, this space will house all of my technology experiments and to share some love back to the Open Source community by contributing some of the project idea & code I have hack together. Therefore, expect to see a lot of technical-oriented stuffs here.
